She'd be ninety-six now. Her movie career probably would have faded by the late 1960s or early 1970s, and she'd have starred in a CBS mystery series in the 1980s. In the 1990s she'd have played some sitcom character's mom in one or two appearances per season. Today she'd be living in a secluded mansion near Santa Barbara with three or four dogs. If we were lucky, she'd do an on-camera interview on TCM, and be a guest on the TCM annual cruise or at their film festival.
