Today's youth have love for Marilyn...

I spend a lot of my time working with teenagers, and it occurs to me more and more just how many young people find Marilyn so attractive and appealing. Almost every work day I see at least one or two kids wearing Marilyn on their t-shirts or hoodies. Sometimes, if the opportunity presents itself, I will comment or ask them if they are a fan - as I myself adore her - and they usually smile and say 'yes'...

I think this is such an endearing testament to Marilyn's lasting appeal.

The most recognizable American face of the 20th century endures!!!

Marilyn Monroe is not for you. Marilyn is a feminist icon, and she is not for your community. Marilyn thought Peter Lawford was a creep because she thought he was a transvestite. LOL. Bye.

I'm 59, love her, and love Betty Grable almost as much (maybe because I grew up in Middle America.)

It's not hard to love or admire Marilyn. She has one the ultimate rags to riches stories, she is not only beautiful and mysterious, but arguably one of the most famous celebrities of all time, not to mention she is still remembered 5 decades after her death. These are all the surface level reasons as to why teens love Marilyn!
