shareI disagree. I don't think she's the most beautiful, I just think she's the most *attractive* woman ever to grace the silver screen!
I mean she's always been a damn good-looking woman and has had an amazing figure her whole adult life, but it's not her looks that makes her appealing. If you made a sculpture of her, and just looked at her face but removed her personality, then you might notice that her face isn't quite a model of perfection.
No, it was her warm and generous personality that made her so incredibly appealing, more than her damn good looks. The characters she played would make the lover of your dreams, or the friend of your dreams, or the mother of your dreams, or the neighbor or in-law or boss or acquaintance... she comes across as such a lovely person that no matter your orientation or place in life, you see her and think she's someone you want in your life. She was a sex symbol in her day, but even when she was at her hottest, she was always SO much more than a sex symbol.
