But we don't know if he raped her and never will. That's the problem with going on social media and ranting, "Rapist!" based on speculation, rumor and unproven allegations. Short of ironclad evidence, there's no way of knowing. It's just urban legend.
That aside, I think you're being a bit intellectually dishonest with your response. I'm asking a hypothetical about how the people who've just been raging on Twitter for the past week tearing down Bryant's legacy based on an unproven rape allegation. Will they be doing the same for Kirk Douglas? If they do, then they're still morons but at least aren't guilty of racism; they're equal opportunity offenders. If they don't, then they can add hypocrisy and racism on top of their idiocy.
Yes it's all hearsay, but the rumours are persistent. It would be good if the matter could be cleared up one way or the other.
As a society, we should be more respectful of the deceased so let's have no more talk of Bryant and Douglas' alleged misdeeds. They're raping angels in Heaven now, God rest their souls.

Yes, somebody did. Whether or not it was Douglas, I hope the truth can somehow be made known. But I suspect we will never know.
shareIt can never be known. Everyone connected to the incident is now more or less dead, and there was never a criminal investigation. It was just a thing that Wood supposedly told loved ones happened, got repeated by them in extremely vague terms and then hit the rumor mill. Anyone alive today is just a poser going by hearsay and conviction.

There was a porn star who claimed to have been drugged and raped by an infamous porn producers. Years later, footage of her turned up on camera eagerly engaging in sex with him and even initiating disgusting sex acts (like wanting to puke on him). So, yes, false accusations do happen.
It's a certainty that some moron will mention it.
