You won't be required to take any tests and you don't have to change your career or anything like that. You just are given a free opportunity to learn about one new topic. Which topic would you pick?
Me: Either marine biology or something astronomy-related.
Probably architecture. I get a visceral reaction when I see beautiful buildings & homes - would like to know more about the classifications & history - for example, I love arts & crafts, art deco especially, decorative brick & tile work. Hate flat brick wall facings with no adornment. Kansas City has some great housing stock, going up during the early 20th century, when architecture was in a prime state of beauty, even for industrial buildings.
shareI find older architecture to be fascinating and I'm always sad when I see older buildings being torn down in the downtown area of my city to be replaced by something that looks like a warehouse. I think architecture would be very interesting to study, too!
