Couldn't you have found an egg facepalm?

reply

It's a Kinder toy.

reply

It looks like clip art from 2003.

reply

It's a Kinder toy from 2017.

Here's a picture of it along with other toys from the same series:

I love that meme but have little idea about the source. Is he a pissed off soccer head coach or something?

reply

Fucking hilarious😄

I don’t think we even know what the hell cricket is over here accept I do know they use a goofy looking baseball bat lol!

"You've gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket." - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

reply

I’m not sure what a ‘crumpet’ is either but I think it’s a sort of baked good the English eat with their tea..?

I’m in New York, it’s Bagel country over here, apologies.

reply

We call bagels "bread holes" here.

If you believed that, you really are American.

reply

🦅🇺🇸💥all day bro!

reply

Shouldn't that be "bread WITH holes?"

reply

We do things differently here.

reply

The little logo at the top left does say "ICC Cricket World Cup 2019".

reply

I'm not familiair with most memes. So what exactly are you disappointed with?

reply

Disappointed that you couldn't tell that this was a joke. Don't you know me by now?

reply

Did he choke on the toy?

Signed, million man.

reply

Don't the toys come separately from the egg in the US?

reply

Yes. We are too dumb to tell chocolate and plastic apart.

Signed, million man.

reply

Most of us are smart enough. It's because the dumb ones scream lawsuit!

reply

I always thought the stuff inside was a bit crunchy.

reply

RIP💐
Growing up in New York we were unaware of KinderEggs.

Maybe it’s a European/Canadian thing? They were not a big deal here.

reply

He died years ago. This is a joke about a toy being inside the chocolate.

They weren't a big did in 'Murica because the government thought Americans were stupid and would choke on the toy that can inside. Not sure bow the government could think anyone could choke on a toy inside of a hard to open plastic egg.

reply

Anyway, the guy is dead now, good luck to him👍

That chocolate/toy thing wasn’t a huge hit over here for whatever reason.

reply

Apparently Kinder Surprise Eggs are illegal in the U.S. because they're a choking hazard.

I see Kinder in my neighborhood stores. Either they're a different version (Kinder Joy without the toy) or store owners around me don't care about the law.

reply

They were a big thing when I was a kid, I still have a box full of "KinderSurprise" toys somewhere in my parents' attic.

reply

If they are ‘vintage’ they could be valuable. People with too much money collect the oddest thing$$$

reply

One of my earliest memories, is my stepfather saying he just ate one of my Kindereggs, and replying "no" when i asked him if he removed the toy.

It was kind of fucked up, because, not only did I have to worry about him potentially having the toy inside of him, but I had no idea if that was likely to be lethal or not at that age.

He ate the egg and hid the toy for a week or so.

reply

Gotta love adults scaring kids for their own amusement.

reply

Hopefully Trump will unban the Kinder Egg. I mean I'm not a Trumper but some of these regulations are ridiculous. Teach your damn brat to bite.

reply

I think they're concerned about people using their teeth to pry open the orange plastic egg. I haven't heard anyone choke on it though.
