***Baker's Dozen - War Movies Set on the Homefront*** Completed

War movies set on the homefront of whatever country the film is set in. The movie doesn't have to have any combat in it, just a story that is during any war.

1. A League of their Own (1992) set in the USA.

May I mention just one more? Shirley Temple was in a movie called Since You Went Away in 1944. It is three freakin' hours long and the dog-awfullest most boring thing ever. I don't say it's the worst movie I ever saw but it just drags on and never ends. Although I don't think I've ever made it all the way through, I just wanted the opportunity to say how bad this movie is, thanks.

I saw that a while back. I thought it was ok-ish but then I think grown up Shirley Temple was hot. I watched to the end but I don't remember much about it. I think it was meant as a morale boosting film which I tend to hate in general.

All I remember is the lady, Shirley Temple's mother I think, telling off the obnoxious neighbor including, "At least I don't hoard like you do."
