Sunday night we watched Nightmare on Elm Street II (1985) 🔪🔪

What a huge drop in quality from the first one.

My 10 year old daughter and I were disappointed. (Daughter 3/10. Me 4/10).

I saw this maybe 20 years ago. I remember not liking it, but unsure to what extent.

reply

It was huge drop off in quality.

reply

Maybe you should have seen it in 4K.

reply

Wouldn’t that have just magnified the poor quality mid-80s film stock?

reply

You'd be surprised how insane the quality can look.

reply

DID YOU TELL HER IT WAS ACTUALLY ABOUT EMBRACING YOUR HOMOSEXUAL SIDE?....LMAO.

PART THREE MAKES UP FOR PART 2'S MEH.

reply

I told him to skip part 3 because of the boinking.

reply

PFFFT....PART THREE IS THE BEST ONE....HANDS ON EYES IS AN AGE OLD TACTIC THAT WORKS.

reply

I like it but it's not something you watch to watch with your 10-year-old daughter.

reply

I DISAGREE....A LOT.🙂

reply

I know you would, sicko.

reply

We watched it at sleepovers when I was about 10. We loved it! Plus, Andy's daughter already liked the first one, so I the third one would be a good one for her to watch as it's more cool.

reply

It depends how comfortable he is being in the same room with his daughter looking at tig 'ol bitties.

reply

I’ll send her on a snack run.

reply

Do you think you can finish your wank in time though?

reply

🫤

reply

samoanjoes, please.

reply

So it's a yes?

reply

samoanjoes, please

reply

Oh, you have an ED problem?

reply

Not that I’m aware of.

reply

3 is my favourite.

reply

That seems to be the general consensus.

reply

2 has actually grown on me over the years, but the first time I watched it, I really disliked it.

reply

The movie is one Giant gay joke. I find it funny but most people probably dont.

reply

Man, it's been for like EVER since I saw this movie and truth be told, can't even remember what it was about??

reply

You’re not missing much.

reply

I hated it when first watching it at age 17 but have grown to like it. Freddy is still pretty scary in this one. Freddy being able to possess a young teenage boy is pretty scary. Part 3 I admit is a bit better but unfortunatley, that's also when he got more talkative and punny.

reply

I'm sorry I mentioned it lol but to be fair I've not seen it in a decade at least. I hope you enjoy the next few if you do end up watching those. Have you done the Scream series as well, I can't recall if you've mentioned it, but it would be a good Wes Craven follow-up series.

reply

We’ve done Scream I-IV for far.

reply

Nice.

reply

2 days later and you still haven't noticed your spelling error.

reply

Haha righ, dumbass put a “t” on Sunday nigh! Lmao

reply

When I saw that, it was such a frigh.

reply

I’m pretty sure the two of us could take him in a figh.

Eazy peazy.

reply

You can both stop right now you moherfuckers.

reply

Such language will no be olerated.

reply

reply

Damn I just noticed I left a "t" in there.

reply

You also left a t in ‘there’.

reply

That’s some double level deep humour righ here.

😂

reply

reply
