Why do I get this msg often when I try to post for the very first time? There is no spaming going on over here but this site keeps throwing this error-code to me.

i keep getting that msg often when I first post. If I meant what you are inferring I meant, I dont deserve to be on the internet.

New users have to wait 10 minutes between posts. Someone reported the wait time is reduced after 7 days, possibly to 30 seconds.

It’s to prevent spamming. Once you’ve built up a number of posts or replies, the wait time reduces. You just need to be patient.

In the beginning, it'll do it for a little bit and once they realize you're not a troll, then the message won't appear as often

Maybe its still too soon but damn this whole not being able to post is obnoxious.

I was trying to send out 5 replies last night and I had them all in different tabs so i could set my timer and EVENTUALLY send them all. But it never let me so i gave up and deleted all my responses.

I just logged in 1st time tonight and my very 1st post was denied. So now im letting it sit in hopes I can send it in 10-30 min. What a pain.

**I forgot, I cant even send this one out. If you see this, it finally went through after a very long time.

Suggestion. Don't log out or delete MC cookies. You'll only have to log in maybe once a year. This may be the issue with the wait time.

It could be by design to prevent sock accounts from circumventing the wait timer.

At first I didn't get the point, but when trolls started coming in, I understood the reason for it. It's a deterrent for trolls to flood the boards with multiple accounts.

I’ve been here for a while and I still get that annoying bullshit.

The time between posts goes down considerably over time. Hang in there, the company is mostly worth the time invested👍
