I went on the Warner Bros. studio tour last week

It was the first time I had ever done one of those and it was interesting, although it was on New Years Eve day and there wasn't much activity on the backlots. They had sets from Friends,(which I only occasionally watched), and Big Bang Theory,(which I loved), and I got to hold a real Oscar and have my picture taken holding it.
Overall, it was a lot of fun.

If I ever go to California again in my life that's the one thing I'd like to do. Go to the movie studio tours and then find all the movies theaters that play classic movies.

reply

Yes, we must do this one day.

I don't think 102000 wants to hang out with you.

reply

LOL - Not true, would be glad to help him take down his tree.

I just meant his use of "we". I know he meant his family, but I just wanted to make a joke.

reply

I know that. I also made a joke - or at least thought I did.

Those tours can be lots of fun. My family went on a tour of Universal Studios in Los Angeles when I was 15 and I got to see the house from Psycho if I remember correctly.

ME TOO...ABOUT THE SAME AGE AS WELL....I HAVE MANY FO
ND MEMORIES OF THAT TRIP.

See any celebs?

reply

No - it was New Years Eve day - but I did see their designated parking spots - LOL.

We went on a Universal Studio's tour in L.A. in 2012. There they built a real town (or part of it anyway), and while you are driving in a little car as part of the tour, they showed a clip on the side of the building of a film, and how it corresponds to the building you are seeing during the tour. Jim Carrey was in the clip.

Was quite fun.
