What did you get for Christmas?

Books, a cinema voucher, tasty food, Portuguese wine.

Not a thing. The adults in my family always go out for dinner at a very nice restaurant - a gift to eachother and we only give gifts to the kids.

My favourite gift has been a Himalayan salt lamp. Its so cozy!

A pair of good sneakers, a handbag, some mugs and chocolates, plus some homemade desserts. Pretty satisfied.

I won’t know the full list until I return to England in January.

I got a few days off and made a succulent roast dinner for company. How about that!

Food, beer and a super fast charger for my phone. It charges from 5% to 100% in less than an hour. Good times!

Not sure how far Americans are familiar with the European tradition of giving the presents on the 24th in the evening, but you have to know it to understand the following.

On the 24th evening there wasn't much, after 20 years marriage one runs out of new ideas, we even went together getting some chocolates for the evening and had the few remaining relatives we have left come over for a piece of self made cheese cake after dinner.

The better present I got on the 25th in the morning.
A breakfast served in bed that took so long, it was 2pm before we got out of there.
