Last night we watched Independence Day!

This is one of my Top 10 movies of all time - a perfect popcorn film 🍿

My 10 year old daughter had a great time watching it and actually told me the following piece of trivia. Apparently, when Will Smith was dragging the alien across the desert, there was a funky smell on set that day and he ad-libbed the line, “And what’s that smell?”, which they kept in the film.

Daughter 9.5/10

I think we missed out on at least a couple movies about the adventures of Will Smith and his wingman Harry Connick Jr.

Love the film, I went to watch Golden Eye at the cinema and this was a trailer before the film....remember thinking OMG I've got to see that.

I've since watched it loads of times.

I'm a grown man but for some reason it makes me teary when the drunk pilot flys up into the primary weapon, can never work out why goose bumps and all sorts lol.

Do you like the second one? On first viewings I didn't but after watching a few times it's not bad at all.
