Do you consider your hairstyle to be a reflection of your personality?

I think so - at least somewhat. I'm a short-haired man and I keep my hair short because I'm a simple guy who generally plays by the rules and norms. But I think my more wacky or unconventional side is expressed because sometimes I'm not conscious about grooming my hair - my mom has to remind me to comb it sometimes.

Yes - I have had numerous styles and colours, long and short over the years.

You don’t wear the same underwear everyday, right?

reply

You're right.

But your 'stache is what really sells it.

reply

It has devolved and evolved, lol.

reply

Yes.

My cornrows speak volumes about my personality.

reply

I was shocked to see the lead singer of Offspring sporting cornrows, seeing as he’s normally synonymous with the bleached spiky hair look.

I actually grew my hair long "for no reason at all"

one day in 2016, I just decided to stop cutting it

I have a beard in the winter, so I basically look like Jesus

This post is baldist.

How shall I repent for my sin?

reply

I suppose it reflects my personality. My hair is medium length, meaning about 2 in longer than shoulder length and it's naturally curly so if I feel like being curly I wear it curly and if I feel like straightening it I wear it straight. So in that regard it reflects my mood that day. Actually more than that, it reflects how humid it is outside. If it's going to be humid it's got to be curly.

Yes. I started shaving my head as a political statement against hippies and rednecks (odd that they both love the same hairstyle - too long). Then I compromised with a fade. Now I wear it short but not shaved.

reply

Well, maybe in a sense.

One is totally into freedom and doing as you please.

I worked in offices for years with a very tight, proper cut. Once I could put the suit and tie away, I started wearing my hair the way I liked.

It remains long to this day.
