I like Tenerife a lot. The landscape around "El Teide" is just beautiful. Enjoy there.

We’re here for nearly a month, so I’ll hire a car & check it out - it’s about an hour away.

Whale watching between Tenerife and La Gomera. You have also the chance to buy Spanish Christmas Lottery ("El Gordo"). If you buy it... good luck.
