Your opinion on the band: Pink Floyd

A band that only exists for stoners and hard drug users.

Great band...some of their songs are "hit and miss" for me, but when they hit, they knock it out of the park. David Gilmour is one of the greats...that ending solo he did on "Comfortably Numb" still gives me chills to this day.

Some very solid early albums, but DSOTM is an album for the ages. I liked Animals, after, but that's about it.

I play some version of their songs everyday on the guitar. My favorites are saucerful of secrets, wish you were here and dark side of the moon. Medle is cool too.

However this is the type of band that doesn't deliver instant or rapid gratification, meaning, I like listening to the whole album instead of a single track here and there, so I'd have to be in the mood to embark on that journey

DSOTM and Wish You Were Here are two of my very favorite albums. And I do like Animals and The Wall a lot. I'm overdue to give their earlier stuff a re-listen, I've not been a huge fan but reserve judgment because it's been a long time. But I put them in the same category as Led Zeppelin and The Who--the Greatest Classics of Classic Rock.
