In this world, are there too much rules on say rights in these departments?
1). Filming and how DO film companies make sure that they may say film people who are not extras etc and avoid getting into trouble for it?
2). Plagiarism, like say using books and sources for project researches, and how do people who aren't geniuses with top IQs learn and manage it, also, some authorities use force and even "legal" warnings over it all, again, its understandable but often SO frustrating.
But is it REALLY understandable and are you HAPPY with it all? ALSO, in SOME areas like especially outside work and studies, related examples, if found out, are tolerated. Like say walking outside in certain parts as long as you don't go into some isn't considered trespassing and say out of fun copying and pasting certain images isn't plagiarism overall, but in SOME cases it both is AND can be.
On a far lesser note. There seems to be some wrongs out there on related grounds that may be tolerated, and different places have different rules around it all, but is it LOGICAL? Does the fact that some places HAVE such rules and OTHERS do NOT mean that one place is better etc and the other is worse or stupider etc than the one that has opposite established rules? What about some people who don't know or CARE too much about it at least in theory (and no offense, but can we go beyond "tough shit" and "no excuse" type of strict replies, although in this life, gosh, we aren't exactly FREE here either) and to them it may NOT be considered "insulting" to have too much protection here with rules that enforce a PUNISHING mindset?
But of course I am not encouraging it all in the wrong ways and I agree boundaries should exist.
But how do we and others know at least ONE extra actor say WASN'T consulted or filmed with their permission, and is it that big a deal (see also films like "Escape From Tomorrow" (2013) for reference points, heck, 40 years later rumors came of James Cameron's "The Terminator" (1984) FILM where people were filmed without knowledge, and even HERE they used the dreaded 'legal' terms etc) - I also ask, in some places, people say in video clips did use film scenes without authors permissions and no trouble came their way. Plus, what if you really can't, and how can you, contact someone famous to use say their work in your work like actor and their scenes in your project?
And does it really matter THAT much?
Not to mention, how do artists with say criminal history etc who are often in hiding manage this where logically MOST people WOULD refuse to work with them, and yet, SADLY... Oh well...
