'Pretty fly (for a white guy)" has been stuck in my head all day....so why not do one of these post for The Offspring? I think their songs are catchy AF.

I had them in my discman quite a lot back then. Nowadays I still listen to them in my car. They’ve been a big part of my life. Smash is one of my favourite album ever. Pretty fly for a white guy is NOT my favourite song from them. Hehe ;)

Then I guess it’s fair to say you’re not a trendy asshole and you are head over heels for that song. I admit that the guitar riff, especially at the end is amazing but my favourite would definitely be Bad habit. Genocide would be 2nd I think.

I genuinely enjoy their studio albums, though I saw them play live a couple times and they were less than amazing.

Still, a lot of respect for the lead singer Dexter Holland getting his Ph.D. in molecular biology.

Great band. Ignition, Smash, and Ixnay on the Hombre were 9/10 albums. Americana had good tracks but some questionable ones, too.

Overall, they are pretty great.

i used to like these dudes.. until i heard one of their latest songs, live on some morning show, that sounded like a weird version of Blink-182's -All the Small Things

Americana was the last decent album IMO.
