Not to my knowledge but it wouldn't be the first time I ate something like that.

Food Oddities are pretty fun. Some taste awful, others okay, and a few are amazing.

It damn well deserves to be there. My wife was laughing at me until she realized how Avocado has infested cake, coffee, ice cream, enemas, salad, facemsmasks, bodyscrubs, shampoo, beer, wine, and perfume.

Fucking hipsters caused this! 😅

Not interested. There is apparently a risk of maggots burrowing into intestinal walls when eating that stuff. I'm down to experience new things, but I draw the line there on this one.

Eating the maggots

Some people enjoy the taste of the maggots, which are said to have a unique flavor that coats the mouth for hours.

Not eating the maggots

Some people prefer not to eat the maggots and will place the cheese in a sealed bag to starve them out. The maggots will writhe and jump around in the bag, making a "pitter-patter" sound. Once the sound stops, the maggots are dead and the cheese can be eaten.
