While I do stand buy WGA & SAG-AFTRA Strikes members last year getting Fair Wages I do think AI is misplaced Technophobia im using in my screenplay fic thanks to ChatGPT it can enhance human creativity.

shareIt's not going to matter in the end. People will spend money on AI stuff no matter who says what about it. Humans don't care. If it is something they like, be it human or AI created, they will spend on it without asking who was behind the scenes.
AI will replace actors, cameras, FX people left and right exactly like computers replaced accountants in the 70s or whatever.

Do you mean you're writing a screenplay and using ChatGPT to help you? If that's what you mean, it's slightly different than producers using ChatGPT to completely replace a writer.
I honestly like to screw around with AI, but I haven't found a practical use for it, yet.
The closest I've come is uploading a PDF of an article and asking it to summarize the key points for me to see if it is worth my reading the whole thing myself, but even then, it makes mistakes and leaves things out, so I don't even use it for that very often.
AI just seems like an echo of human creativity. I have no doubt that the data storage is enormous and most impressive but only humans are true creators. AI could never have written Led Zeppelin or Beatles songs or referenced them if real people did not create them first.
AI is cool but I think we should discredit it as nothing but a nifty gag.
I worry more about the laziness factor.
CGI is a great tool for creating worlds and events in movies. It is also used to improperly cut corners and create more dreck. Ai will have a similar effect.
