Why do people talk about the "greatest" rappers, when they're all completely talentless by default?

It's hilarious. Anyone with a modicum of rhythm can bark obscenity-laden nonsense over vapid, repetitive music (often stolen from someone else). I regularly do it just to amuse myself and reinforce to my buddies what a joke this "art form" truly is. I guess people don't feel comfortable telling the truth about the steaming pile of excrement that is rap "music", because it emanated from blacks.
