How in the Heck do you Create a Meme, Text only? Inquiring Minds Want to Know.

I want to make a very simple meme, plain black background with white writing. I can find no comprehensible instructions online. Can anyone please help me? Thanks.

Open a new file in Microsoft Paint and go from there.

I don't think I have it but I have Pixelmator Pro.

Upload a plain black picture to imgur's meme generator. I'm sure you could find one off the internet. Then type in the words.

You probably figured this out already, but "Impact" is the traditional font for memes...
