Agreed. General Discussion doesn't have enough activity. Administration should be encouraging posts here, not preventing them. None of the ProBoards have such a self-deleting limit on posts.
As for the fools who kept repeating the stupid "flooding" retort, it's not a matter of trying to spam. You try to make two relevant posts in a row and you have to wait. I just say "fuck it" and move on. It's unprofessional.

There are other ways to prevent flooding. Putting an annoying limit on the other 99% of us is just counterproductive. Grow the goddamn site. I've been deterred from making posts because of that rule and I was not "flooding".
