So I was reading this business book

It was an otherwise good book, but there was one part that bothered me. In it the author says it’s best not to hire blacks as this will bring a lot of racial politics into the office reducing productivity. Wouldn’t this be racist, and even more importantly illegal? Please advise.

Now that's surprising. That seems like something you'd find in a 1950s book.
