Do You Know What The Highest Elevation Is In Florida?

......

The highest natural point in Florida is Britton Hill, which has an elevation of 345 feet (105 meters) above sea level:

Britton Hill is located in Walton County, near the town of Lakewood, and is part of Lakewood Park. The park has a monument, trails, and an information board that marks the high point.

Britton Hill is the lowest state highpoint in the United States, 103 feet (31 meters) lower than the next lowest highpoint in Delaware.

I went from NYC (virtually at sea level) to Reno 4,505′ above sea level. Been here 11 years.

The highest point in Key West, FL is called Solares Hill which is 18 feet above sea level.

I did not know it was even that high. Florida always seems so very flat.

In the 90s when I lived in Gainesville I knew some people from West Virginia and they would always talk about how flat Florida was.

I visited people out in Kansas many years ago and it too is really flat. A beautiful all-American heartland kind of place but flat.
