How much does Jim want $$

A few of us might be willing to buy this place before it burns down.

I'd pitch in for sure!!

reply

If someone has to start a Go Fund Me, do it and I'll contribute, but make sure it's all agreed and it's only one.

reply

If it looks like it's being done the right way, I'd probably be willing to donate $5 or $10.

reply

Shoot, I'd throw in enough to match offers if need be.

reply

I would definitely contribute to a Go Fund Me Page to get this place up and running smooth again. Like I said, I've been around a long time in the 20 Years surfing these movie websites beginning in 2004 with Rotten Tomatoes to moving to Box Office Mojo, then to World of KJ Index and finally to Box Office Theory, which was a toss up between which site was the worst and suppressed free speech the most with banning you?? World of KJ Index or Box Office Theory and the winner was Box Office Theory.. Movie Chat is a very laid back place with a MOD very seldom seen, but are heard from and you'd have to screw up pretty bad to be banned from a site like this

reply

It'd have to be a rare type of person to purchase and not go dictator/turn it into an overmoderated shithole like so many other sites. I'd rather have Moviechat simply die than have one of you clowns with questionable character in charge.

reply

There really is no need to be a dick right now. Thank you.

Signed, million man.

reply

If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions. Like the thought of handing this site over to an unknown entity that will likely destroy it regardless. Futile and unwise.

Signed, quintillion man.

reply

I didn't say I was scared. You are being rude, though.

Signed, million man.

Nice pulp fiction line drop.

reply

It's a sick line, indeed.

reply

To be continued

reply

This is actually a very valid point.

Imagine one of the Mr. Magoo pun masters from General Discussion getting power over even the Mods here. A lot could go wrong.

reply

The new Discord has already demonstrated this point perfectly well apparently, lul.

reply

Well Musk paid 44 billion for his free speech platform...

That's a lot of bake sales.
