1. What do you prefer overall: KFC or Popeyes?
2. Regarding KFC, which do you prefer: Original or Crispy?
3. Regarding Popeye's, which do you prefer: Mild or Spicy?
My answers:
#1 is tough for me. I love the spiciness of Popeye's Spicy, but KFC is no slouch when it comes to flavor, too! I ultimately picked KFC.
#2 Original is where KFC shines. Crispy just doesn't cut it.
#3 Spicy most definitely. Gotta have that Cayenne Pepper kick.
1. I love the flavor of those 11 herbs and spices of KFC original recipe. But I love Popeye's, too. So overall a tie.

1. I like both but I like Popeyes a little better and I really like their dirty rice.
2. Original recipe by far. There is an old joke that says KFC's extra crispy chicken is yesterday original recipe.
3. Spicy. I don't even remember ever if I tried regular. Fun fact. Popeyes is not named after the cartoon character instead the founder named his restaurants after Popeye Doyle who is the lead character in The French Connection which is his favorite movie.
I usually prefer the chicken at the Publix deli.

2. Crispy - as I've gotten older, I find Original to be way too salty.

If I had it my way,
KFC chicken cooked Original and/or Crispy, with Popeyes' spicy spice blend. I do remember, in the olden days - the 1990s -- KFC had a very tasty Spicy Chicken special, well, it went away and never came back.
