Moviechat has an old school system- that's good

The ignore feature works. There are some losers who flame and insult celebrities, good films, etc. You click "ignore" and they are gone. Out of sight and out of mind.

Unlike other forums. ProBoards for example. Their interface is more modern but the ignore function is a piece of shit.

The ignore function gives the board a much needed cleanse. It looks really good.

Ignore feature sure beats Reddit's strategy. I just got forever-banned on all 3 of my Reddit accounts for saying I thought the new Dungeons & Dragons version of Orcs as peaceful Mexicans was ridiculous with one of my accounts.

I want a system that allows you to report yourself to the mods and then put yourself on ignore.

That's one of my favourite things about this place. Probably because I'm older, but I dislike all the other junk on some of the other boards out there.

I use it. If someone is spamming politics and mainly bumping political candidates, I ignore them.

I'll take them off after the election.
