Yes.

But my home country is comparatively small -- so it's not a big deal. It's not like being in the USA or Brazil where Washington or Brasilia might be effin' miles away from you.

In fact, I just looked it up and, apparently, 6% or 8% of British adults (depending on which article I choose to believe) have never set foot in London. The article pitches this as being a surprisingly high figure, which -- yeah -- I think it is, actually. But still the overwhelming majority of British people have, so I don't think I'm special.

Yes...I took my family to D.C. back in August 2019 for a few days (My wife had to get her passport renewed and we had to go to the Ukrainian embassy in D.C. to get it). It was inspiring to see all the historical landmarks and think about all the famous Americans who once lived and/or worked there.

Spent four years in Washington, D.C. when I attended The George Washington University from the fall of 1969 to the summer of 1973.
Freshman year began with anti-war demonstrations and senior year ended with the Watergate hearings.
It was an amazing time to be in our nation's capital.

Also went to West Berlin in 1973 and 1989 (just before the wall came down), but it wasn't the capital of Germany then.

Yes, in Madrid (I was born in Spain) and Berlin ( I am living in Germany for many years now).
Apart from that I was in Paris, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Rome and Mexico City.

No but I have been to the original capital Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
