Have you been to the capital of your home country?
I've last been to Washington D.C. back in 2000 as part of a 8th grade class trip. At the Capitol we met the two senators from our home state. We also visited the White House.

The traffic and parking are a total mess though and it’s pricey. Best to stay in one of many nice outer suburban areas and taking a bus in.
