Are there any shows you "left" that you'd like to get back into?

I've gotten some time off recently, decided to cross some stuff off my watch list & then realized, I have like a butt load of shows that I haven't finished or just flat out abandoned.

There are three types:

1. Shows I stopped watching cause they stopped being good. No plans of revisiting those. Like at all.

2. Shows that took way to long to release a new season that I just lost interest. I'm kinda 50-50 on these.

3. Shows that I just couldn't keep up with cause of work & stuff. There are a lot of these & would honestly love to at least finish those before my break ends.

Ones I've already crossed off in the past week:

1. Barry season 3 & 4
2. Alice in Borderland season 2
3. Harley Quinn Season 3
4. Infinity Train Season 3 & 4
5. Loki season 2

Four outta five were worth the wait.

From the top of my head, would genuinely love to finish these as well:

1. The Expanse Season 5 & 6
2. What We Do in the Shadows Season 4 & 5
3. Invincible season 2
4. It's Always Sunny season 15 & 16
5. Russian Doll season 2
6. Black Mirror Season 3 to current season
7. Fargo season 2 to current season
8. Mindhunter season 2
9. The Orville season 3
10. Resident Alien season 3

The Crown, sometime in season 3. To me, it just wasn't the same after Claire Foy left. But someday I'd like to binge watch the whole thing.

reply

Yes, "From"

it's a terrible name for anything but, I want the show to finish so I can binge watch the whole thing

Same here. It looks interesting but I dislike "mystery porn" shows.

Ya know, ones that tease & tease, without revealing anything but just keep on piling on more mystery.

But I'm with ya. I will definitely check it out once it concludes. Hopefully soon. Before it gets canned.

Too many to mention; Unfortunately I had a gap of about 15 years in my viewing history and I’ve spent about the last 10 trying to catch up.

Finally! A worthy opponent! Haha

Seriously though, First thing I did when my Vacation started was, I looked at my watch list of shows I dropped, shows I wanna start & films I've been meaning to check out & I just let out a deep sigh.

It's been too long since I've had a continuous period of just watching stuff on my list. It's grown waaay too long!

Sometimes, I just go to Stonekeeper's "What did you watch this week" posts & get super envious of people watching like half a dozen to a dozen things in just a week. Jealous!

I just pick a show, go for it and don’t stop until it’s done. Then a few films, followed by another show. Plus keeping up with new stuff, along with introducing my daughter to as many classic as possible.

Yes, two...and both from the 80s:

1) "Moonlighting"
2) "Miami Vice"

I loved both of these shows back in the day, but I graduated high school and went off to college & I eventually stopped watching these altogether. Chatting with ClementinaSpur made me realize that I'd never watched a lot of the "Moonlighting" episodes from the final season and I'd like to do that before I die.

"Miami Vice"...I found a Roku station that is airing this and I've seen a few episodes here and there. Like "Moonlighting," I eventually stopped watching this after I went off to college...and, like "Moonlighting," it seems like it went bad in the end. But both of these shows produced some great TV also and I am really enjoying seeing the "Miami Vice" episodes again.

ER....MY FAVORITE SHOW IN THE 90S...I DROPPED OUT SOMEWHERE AROUND SEASON 8 OR 9 DUE TO LIFE.

reply

I don't watch TV unless it's a half hour show that's self contained in each episode. The Walking dead killed my ability to watch a long form series with one story pulled across multiple episodes.

The Walking Dead (still have to finish season 7).
Charmed (1998) - (have to start season 4). It's going to be really strange not seeing Shannon Doherty.
