Great movies people don't watch anymore
Chariots of Fire
The Dead Zone
Interstellar
ET
European Vacation
When I was a kid Gone with the Wind would play on TV at least once a year. I bet most people under 50 have never seen it (I'm 65). 1930s Frankenstein/Dracula as well. I wonder if kids even watch The Wizard of Oz anymore.

Probably not in the numbers it used to get, since it's not on one of only three broadcast networks and there's a certain "datedness" that eventually degrades all pop culture items.
DEPENDS ALOT ON THE PARENTS...ALI HAS SEEN FRANKENSTEIN...DRACULA AND THE WIZARD OF OZ....SHE HAS NOT SEEN GONE WITH THE WIND THOUGH....I SAW IT ONCE AS A KID.
shareIt appears I was a bit off about GWTW--reading its Wikipedia entry, it says that it was shown for the first time on broadcast TV in 1976, a one-time deal, and got the once a year airing starting in 1978, when I would have been in my late teens (not a kid). I probably saw it before then in some NYC revival/art movie theater. I can't recall.

20 years old, and more relevant now than ever.
Casablanca, along with a lot of other Bogart films.
While I can't claim to know what people are watching, I can, and will, list a few favorites that I rarely to never see or hear much about.
And The Dead Zone is probably my favorite Stephen King horror adaptation. Little tidbit from the books: Cujo was possessed by the spirit of the serial killer from TDZ.
When Trumpets Fade (1998)
Never Cry Wolf (1983)
Alone in the Wilderness (2004)
Night of the Eagle (1962)
Pin (1988)
All 8/10+ imo.
I thought Chariots Of Fire was a terrible bore, really just slow and boring as hell.
The Dead Zone was excellent and the King novel was really good as well👍
I’m going a bit way back in the time machine but The Great Escape (1963) had a brilliant tough guy ensemble cast of Allied pilots attempting to escape a German POW camp, based somewhat loosely on a true story titled ‘Sage.’ I read it once but it seems to be out of print and not easy to find now.
