I’d sell.

Never did.

No, I do not keep copies of DVDs or Blu-rays of films I dislike.
Fortunately, it is a rare occurrence that I buy something unseen, thus I'll know beforehand whether I like the film or not.

Meanwhile, today I just ordered the following three Blu-rays from Amazon ...
American Pie (1989) - contains both the theatrical and unrated versions
The Current War (2017) - Director's Cut
Love Lies Bleeding (2024)

I was able to find a bluray of Fright Night part 2 at my local media store and bought it for only 25 dollars and the quality if AWESOME! I kind of wish Evil Ed had returned for the sequel, but the wolfman they brought in as his replacement was actually pretty good : )

I do not keep movies I hate purposefully. I've given movies away when I found someone I know liked the movie yet I didnt so I've asked "you want it"? and they have said yes. I'll hold them until the opportunity presents itself to give it a new home. There is one time though where I straight up threw a movie in the trashcan. The movie was called Dogville, and even though the films climax gave some satisfaction it was not enough to overcome the levels of abuse that lady suffered throughout the long film. I got the movie for free from an overage bin at 2nd and Charles, and I understood why it was free after watching it. I considered putting in back in the free bin but decided not to subject another person through that terrible film so I broke it in half and placed it in the trashcan.

I STILL NEED FRIGHT NIGHT 2...THAT'S A SCORE.

reply

They need to release both together on the same bluray. Like how they have done with other sequels, or just in a collection package in general.

reply

YES...I WOULD BUY THAT IN A SECOND.

No. I don't buy physical media any more, but back when I did, I'd have regular purges.

reply

MY RIDICULOUSLY LARGE COLLECTION HAS BEEN I BOXES FOR WHAT SEEMS LIKE FOREVER...WHEN I FINALLY GET IT ON SHELVES...I SUSPECT A MONSTER PURGE WILL BE IN ORDER.

Once in a while I'll blind buy a movie if it's very cheap and I've heard things ABOUT IT that got me interested. If it's no good, I'll just hold onto it. If spAce gets tight in my apartment, I'll get rid of those first, i guess.
