Do you hire someone to clean your house? Is it worth it?

I live in a studio apartment, so no...one of the advantages of a studio apartment is it is easy to clean.
Growing up we had a maid (she vastly preferred the term housekeeper) who came in at least once week, maybe more, I don't remember, she was very nice to us kids. When we were grown, mom had a maid come in twice a month for many years, she did a good job and was completely trustworthy, had a key to the place.
