I saw this earlier this year and it just thrilled me. I don't think John Denver realized how many people loved his music when he died, so I think he would have really been shocked to see this:

shareAwesome, Clementina! I've never watched "Northern Exposure," but I've read/heard a lot of great things about it and know it has a lot of fans who still love the show today.
Wheeling seems to be a neat city...not far from the Pennsylvania border (and right across the river from Southeast Ohio).
Northern Exposure is amazing! I watched it when it aired from 1990-1995, and I'm running through the episodes again this summer. They are just as enjoyable now 30+ years later.
If you are ever interested in watching and have Amazon Prime, watch them there because the original music is used. The DVD set couldn't get rights to the music, so they have generic music which totally alters the vibe.
My dad worked in Pittsburgh for many years, and Wheeling is just one hour away! I wish I had been able to do some exploring across the state line when I visited him there.

Excellent choice! Yes, the TV stations that I watched growing up were based in West Virginia and Bob Denver would pop up on the local news at times. I've driven through Princeton (I think the West Virginia Turnpike runs right through it), but I've never visited it proper.

Another excellent choice! One of my cousins was the head football and wrestling coach for Parkersburg South High School back in the 80s. Pretty city...right across the river from Marietta, OH, which I grew up not far from there.
