-Movie starts-
Our American protagonist is currently living in Eastern Europe/Latin America for whatever reason. He lives alone and we soon realize that he speaks the local language PERFECT.
I feel I have seen that so many times, but I just cant mention any movies where that actually happens.
What is your example?
Well... For me its usually just scenes I've seen from movies that I to date cannot find names of. Two examples personally...
1). A woman puts a rifle on a man's shoulder and shoots dead some villain in the mountains. Possibly some 90s direct to video or made for TV thriller or action movie but can't find its name.
2). Villains including one female character (no offense to anyone, and I SAW this extract 31 or so YEARS ago around late 1993) chasing a kid and also someone opening a dashboard in an ambulance van that sets itself on fire.
Dunno if it helps, and as for others... Well...
-The Don't die on me/stay with me scene. I must have seen it in at least 15 movies, but mentioning one is impossible.
Platoon maybe?
I think when the chubby kid with the girlfriend back home gets shot.
That happened in McCormick and jojo, when JoJo was dying at the end. That scene always gets me.
