But I had a nice Mothers' Day. It was a sunny day here, in the mid-80s with a light breeze. I spent a lot of time outside this afternoon. Got all my patio stuff out and arranged. Found time to just sit and relax, too. Listened to music of my choice, (but unfortunately also was a little annoyed at too many boom cars on a nearby street. Oh, well. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Still a nice, relaxing day altogether. ✨🎵📻🤸🏻‍♀️😎💃🏻😁🍷🥂⛱️

Thank you. It was great, even though I didn't get to see any of my children (all three live out of town) but I did hear from all of them.

Love to hear a mom-ism like “boom cars.” Glad you had a nice day GE. You always paint a picture with your posts!

Thank you for the kind words. "Boom cars" isn't mine, though. Originally, I called them "three-block cars," because you could hear their speakers blasting three blocks coming, and three blocks going.

I did. Even though I didn't always get along well with her, I'm still in awe of how she managed to raise six children, remained relatively sane, 😉 and became a full-time elementary school teacher for nearly 30 years.
