10/10 - Steve Stevens and Ozzy holy shit.
EDIT: That song is very 'No More Tears' and 'Perry Mason' era Ozzy.
Interestingly, it was written by Steve Stevens and Billy Morrison; I don't think Ozzy had any input on the writing and just sang on it.
I think Ozzy's vocals make the song worse.
shareIf you're not a fan of his vocal style, which I will admit is an acquired taste, I can see that.
I never liked his singing at first and only started listening to his solo stuff for the guitar players and other musicians on his albums, and eventually I became a fan of his as well.
I don't mind it during his Sabbath days, but his solo stuff always sounds like there's a slight echo and this song isn't doing him any favours.
shareThe echo/reverb thing on his voice is weird. It’s especially noticeable on ‘Crazy Train’ and makes it hard to listen too even for me, and I like that song.
