I do really appreciate your offer, but it’s not one of the genres I collect.

I was an early adopter of digital, I stopped buying records in the mid-1980s in favor of CDs (remember long boxes?). I stopped buying CDs around 2010, sold what I had and now everything is stored on hard drives.

Having said that, I subscribe to Stereophile and The Absolute Sound, which always have articles about the latest in vinyl playback...https://www.stereophile.com/category/analog-corner

I have a box of roughly 50 LP's tucked away in storage, but haven't had a record player in decades now.

No real collectibles/rarities amongst them, except for a picture disc of "Band On the Run", & the 4 disc box set of Chicago's "Live At Carnigie Hall".

after getting bad offers on the Records i have & have tried to sale I decided to buy a Record player & just enjoy the Vinyl myself

I have over 30,000 units of Vinyl and CDs; I am a collector, not a seller.

that's alotta music. how often do you browse through & throw something on ? i would often think there are records that would be more appreciated by some one out there rather than collecting dust in my closet.

I have a pile of about 200 ‘to listen to’ albums. I work through these from A to Z, normally 8 at a time in rotation until I’ve had enough, then they go on the ‘to file pile’ (the ‘to listen to’ pile is constantly being added to, so as quickly as an album hits the ‘to file pile’ then this has been replaced by a new addition).

About once a quarter, I file the ‘listened to’ stuff. Everything in the library is in alphabetical and chronological order. It’s a true labour of love.

long gone like the 70s

Don't remind me. I had 500 vinyl albums in perfect condition, perfect covers as well, all stolen from my storage.
