Name a city you visited and would never go back to.
New Delhi, India.

lol I thought of that too. But if I wanted to visit family in the area, I'd have to land in the New Delhi airport, sadly.
shareSame. Indira Gandhi airport wasn't too bad.
I liked Chandigarh though. Seems "clean" by Indian standards.

Ah, Chandigarh would be a better and closest place to land for me, but IIRC the ticket price was higher (I'm talking about many years ago, so I'm not sure).
I landed in New Delhi (ND), back in 2014. *PUFF* with the fog, mixed with the foul air (at the time) was really, really bad. The airport hadn't changed since my prior time landing (1989) and looked like a run-down 1970s esk building. The carpets hadn't changed lol. Yes, Chandigarh (the city) is way better in many ways, though I haven't had the chance to explore much of ND.
Tijuana.
shareI think the only city I wouldn't go back to unless I had to for some reason would be Vegas.
shareBakersfield.
share😂 LOL This made me laugh hard, and I totally agree.
shareReminds me of that scene from "Friends" with Chandler's trannie "Dad": https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx9UFDggKHoSp2Nil5OJSEJ_xUmbW2I5Th?si=tzVg431DOZp0wWFT

If you think Bakersfield is bad I highly recommend never visiting the entire state of Oklahoma. The state is basically a giant Bakersfield with a different accent and no hills other than what someone made with their tractor so they can jump over it on their dirt bike. It's as completely shitty as it sounds.
But yeah Bakersfield sucks.
Can't be as bad as South Dakota.

It's much worse. At least SD has places like the Black Hills. I'm not exaggerating when I say there's nothing but man made dirt piles as far as the eye can see in Oklahoma. Add to that dust storms and cities where entire populations consider the nearby Dollar General to be their "grocery store."
shareAtlanta, Georgia.
I got lost in a bad neighborhood at night while driving an Acura Integra when it was one of the most stolen cars around and heads were turning/people were pointing as I drove by crowds of people. It was a terrifying experience.
On top of that it's the only city in the country where I've had a bad chicken sandwich from Chik Fil A.
Atlanta is definitely the worst city i've ever been and had the misfortune of living in for a while. Unfortunately, every road and plane in the country goes through there. It's pretty unavoidable. Got robbed there a few times, and even mugged once and I thought the guy was gonna kill me cause I really didn't have my wallet on me. You gotta pack a picnic lunch for the daily traffic jams as well. Everything is real expensive too, so that's a plus.
shareThat checks out perfectly with my experiences there. I couldn't imagine living in that city but I'm glad you made it out alive.
shareI saw a baseball game there. That was kind of neat. Never did that before. And it's the only place around here that metal bands actually stop by on their tours.
shareThat's cool. I will say that I enjoyed my visit to the aquarium when I was there and that some parts of the city seemed decent. That episode of getting lost in that bad neighborhood scared the shit out of me though and I definitely wouldn't mind never traveling through there again. Like you said though all roads seem to go through Atlanta and I'm sure I'll pass through again the next time I visit Anderson.
shareNaples,Italy. The city had trash everywhere, looked dirty, was very grim.
shareSanto Domingo
