I attended the 1964 NYC World's Fair as a 5-year-old. I only remember the monorail, and only because the guy in the station handing me the paddle that he used to stop the monorail when it was at the right point (a ping pong sized paddle with a big red spot) so I could be the one to stop the thing. I did visit the site in the late 70s, besides the iconic Unisphere and Pavilion I remember seeing a large rocket.
I did go to the Knoxville, I was 23 years old. I don't remember much. I do remember banks of video games like Donkey Kong (which was a fairly new thing). I really can't recall much in terms of the exhibits. I remember the ketchup robot. I'm sort of shocked I can't recall more.
