I seem to remember something like that.

I know Goldberg seems like a hasbeen. She has done some big movies, like "The Color Purple" (uggh) and "Ghost".

But she's on The View and gets a lot of publicity and women watch that show. So she's had a rather strong career and can't be considered a hasbeen yet.

I thought that show died decades ago. Or is it being revived again? (This wouldn't surprise me since reboots have become so common these days.)

Whoopi Goldberg was on the 1998 syndicated version.
