Why are cats so adorable?
I don't feel like that about any other animals, only cats. There's just something about the way they move and behave that makes me melt inside.

You have a genetic weakness that the cats have taken advantage of. Their urine scent has made a slave of you.
Dogs would never take advantage of you that way.

That cat clearly intended to have a bunch of humans fall to their death down that mine shaft and then climb out on their dead bodies.
Thankfully man's best friend saved the day, and unfortunately that nasty cat.

shareWhat does that have to do with intelligence? That's trainability to me. Just because cats aren't really trained, I don't think that means they are stupid.
I think cats are good problem solvers. I do think that I've read that cats have fewer neurons, but I would never call them stupid. Not after watching my cat figure out how to get his food out of the cupboard that was above my stove.

Now, PUSSY, on the other hand . . .
I think their sense of individualism makes them intriguing. Unlike a dog, they don't come when they're called. But they come when they want to. They're also cleaner. I'd much prefer a cat on the couch than a smelly dog.
My only problem is I am allergic to them. I have lived with them and find them very appealing. Just some of them make my skin where I shave itchy and my eyes itchy.
There's never a day that goes by that I don't miss my Oscar.. He was my long hair fuzzy orange cat I adopted through Pet Rescue back in 2015.. Right now, I have a tortoise shell cat at home named Rose and she's around 8 or 9.. Oscar was 5 when I adopted him, but I had him cremated and placed in an Urn that sits on my corner table in my living room next to my Mom.. I'm convinced my Condo is haunted as a result
