How many miles was your high school to your house

4 Miles, 3 Johns, 7 Mikes and 2 Toms.

10 miles to school.
14 miles back home.
Uphill both ways.
Snowed all year round, but only over those roads, even in the scorching summer.
I had to carry my bike there and back instead of riding it because “it builds character.”
Was laden with a trombone case on my back, even though I wasn’t in band, because “it teaches you to stand up to bullies.”

1 mile and I walked to school with a friend - uphill both ways - fending off wild beasts - 40 below year round.

500 meters/0.311 miles. I went by bike and still was late most of the time.

1/2 a mile and used to walk every day and bypass taking the bus.. Gave me an some friends time to stop and smoke a doob

It was a 10 minute walk. So half a mile maybe?

About 3 miles and it took 15-20 mins to get there depending on traffic.

First HS was about 3 miles from my house.

Half way thru sophomore year, transferred to one about 5 miles away.
