shareThey turned real sour on it around the time when The Queen of England was nearly assassinated by Reggie Jackson.
shareIt's a kids game in Britain. We call it rounders. I don't think I've ever seen an adult play it here 🤔
shareRounder! Rounder! Rounder! Rounder!
shareThere is also Welsh Baseball

Never heard of English or Welsh baseball associations. Weird. Definitely not a mainstream thing
where I live 🤷🏻♀️
The only reason I ever heard of it is that a biography of Shirley Bassey I read says she played it as a kid where she grew up near Cardiff. The author explains in a footnote: *That’s Cardiff baseball. It’s a halfway house between rounders and the American game, played almost exclusively in the port towns of Cardiff, Newport and Liverpool. It’s the summer game of working-class Cardiff; there are thriving leagues both for men and ladies.
shareAustralia has tennis and AFL, and those are a bit more interesting to us.
