The ending is open ended but It implies that the main character is killed They used to air this on the Disney channel for kids.

Not a movie

But the 'Tale Of The Lonely Ghost' episode of 'Are you afraid of the Dark?' really scared me as a kid.

The little girl in the white dress writing HELP ME on the walls of the spooky abandoned house really freaked me out and occasionally my mind would play tricks with me and I would think I saw her in the garage and I'd run away in terror.
