Agreed. Same as The Cooked House being burnt down (*allegedly* by the people who own the site behind it and have form for this kind of thing). A truely unique place gone forever βΉοΈ

I had not heard about this one, but it's just as bad. I hate people who have no respect for history. Wasn't there some idiot who tore down a historic pub without planning permission and who was then required to rebuild it using the debris from the original building?
