MovieChat Movie Party Friday/Saturday Feature #16 Stonekeeper Birthday Special!

Hi,

Saturday Special Edit:
Today is my birthday so I will probably be able to watch only one movie tonight but I will be watching one today also and I have a suggestion for anyone who would like to honour my birthday by watching THE movie I took the habit of watching every year on this date: Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) I will most probably have it paying in background as I do some other stuff today. Anyone who comes to my weekly “what did you watch this week” thread with Birdman will be considered as a Birthday gift to me. Thank you!

This Movie Party will allow two things to happen:

-people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.

This movie really captures the feel of peeping through keyholes.

reply

It does and I know from first hand experience...

from other people, I mean.

reply

So it would be the other hand in that case - the second one... a 'second-hand' experience, if you will...

reply

It is always best to vacuum in a dress with no underwear.

reply

So far at least 33% of this movie's humor relies on a slide whistle sound effect, and I am totally on board!

reply

Bah! That sounds like a hoot.

reply

Clearly, Stanley gets his good looks from his ma.

reply

Keyholes are for peeping is directed by Doris Wishman who was the one of the best female exploitation directors. I've seen 20 of her films.

reply

Leave it to a truly artistic movie to switch up repeated use of a slide whistle sound effect for a doorbell!

reply

Yes, this is real cinema. Fuck that Citizen Kane crap.

reply

This movie is the 'Citizen Kane' of feature length Gumby exploitation.

reply

🤣

reply

This movie reminds me of Stonekeeper.

reply

Sounds like a good movie! Lol

reply

Guys!!

I just realized Kill List was from the same director who did one of the best movie I watched this year: Sightseers!!

Crazy thing is I actually thought about that movie earlier because they have similar vibes.

Kill list moves slower, sometimes too slowly but I liked it still. Brilliant. Just fucking brilliant.
