Where were your great grandparents from

Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Sweden.

On my father's side-

Mother of my Dad's mom was born in Canada & was of French descent

Father of my Dad's mother was born in (I think) Indiana & was of Irish descent

The parents of my Dads father were from Indiana also, & were of Irish-Scots descent.

Not too clear with the great grandparents on my Moms side, but mostly of English & Scots descent, that came from the midwest & the south..

Italy on one side, Ireland on the other.

My sixteen great grandparents were from:

Ireland - 8
Northern Ireland - 4
Scotland - 1
Canada ( before it became Canada ) - 1
England ( Somerset ) - 1
Australia ( Melbourne ) - 1 [ both of her parents emigrated from Ireland ]

All of them emigrated to Victoria in Australia in the 1840's and 50's except the last who was born in Melbourne. I was born in and still live in Melbourne.

My grandma was from Venus. My grandpa was from Mars.
