A GREAT LITTLE CHRISTMAS FILM THAT LEANS MORE INTO DISFUNCTIONAL FAMILY THAN JOY OF THE SEASON...BUT IT HAS IT'S SPECIAL CHRISTMAS MOMENTS TOO...IT IS LITERALLY THE ONLY CHRISTMAS FILM I WATCH EVERY YEAR...BONUS...IF YOU WATCH IT...YOU WILL GET A KIND OF SNEAK PEEK INTO WHAT FAMILY CHRISTMASES WERE LIKE FOR ME AS A KID.

reply

The Ref is awesome!

Hallmark overkills Christmas.

Christmas in July reruns and then new starts before Halloween.

Are this many holiday stories really necessary?

Bring back the Yule log with Happy the Cat and Happy the Dog

reply

i like to get past halloween first.

reply

I like to get past American Thanksgiving first, Christmas is for December.

reply

I like to get past American Thanksgiving first

It's called "wrong Thanksgiving".

This is more cheapening of the experience of what should be a special time of year. And I will never understand why the Hallmark Channel runs "Christmas" movies in July. It's the middle of summer, the heat is unbearable and the holidays are months away. It's almost as though they are taunting viewers: "Here's a holiday movie even though it isn't Christmas time. We hope you enjoy it as you suffer through the miserable hot weather." Kind of like inviting someone who is on a diet to an all-you-can-eat buffet.
December 1 is early enough for "Christmas" programming.

Will watch some.

40 movies - damn.

reply

Bit overwhelming, I don't think I'm up for the challenge, but I'd like to watch some of them.

reply

This seems a bit soon, however, I appreciate your passion for it.. I start up around mid November
