detroit has nhl and nba teams

reply

No, Cincinnati.

The 2 pro teams could be several cities, but none of them have Cincinnati Chili, which is unlike any other chili - Skyline and Goldstar are the most popular.

"Cincinnati chili is a Mediterranean-spiced meat sauce used as a topping for spaghetti or hot dogs; both dishes were developed by immigrant restaurateurs in the 1920s. In 2013, Smithsonian named one local chili parlor one of the "20 Most Iconic Food Destinations in America"."

(That would be Skyline.)

BTW OP, your chocolate delicacy is very popular in my house at Christmas time.

reply

Why thank you. But I personally dislike it. Too sweet for my liking.

I've been at your city about 2 months ago. Been to the mall, Whyte Avenue and Riverwalk. The gardens in those pyramid things seem cool. Downtown seems sketchy and dead asf.

reply

Yeah, I don't really go downtown if I don't have to.

reply

Sunshine, beaches and tourism.

Somewhere in Iraq.

reply

I'm sure you could get a good deal on a holiday to Iraq.

reply

You must have a lot of aristocratic people there, I heard it was famous for its peers.

reply

The Queen visited in 1966.

It’s also, apparently the 9th most expensive place to live in the World.

reply

You get the joke--famous for its piers/peers

reply

I was trying to play it straight, lol.

reply

ok...this is an example of how one cannot convey a tone of voice on a message board (at least, without emojis) :)

I modified an old joke that goes something like 'I was born from a long line of peers...yah I was born down on the docks'
